Tools for AEC, built by people who ship.

BIM Mobius is a productivity platform for the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. We build addins, content, AI tools, and courses for people who use Revit, Tekla, and AutoCAD every day.

We started because we kept building the same automation scripts on every project. Why was there no shared layer? Why did every studio rebuild the same tools from scratch? So we built one.

The platform is opinionated. Light typography, hairline borders, no decoration that doesn’t earn its space. We think the tools you use every day should disappear into the work — quiet, fast, and trustworthy.

What we ship
  • Productivity addins — ribbon extensions for Revit, Tekla, and AutoCAD that automate the tedious parts of modelling, drawing production, and IFC export.
  • Premium content — a curated library of parametric Revit families, project templates, and detail components with full documentation.
  • AI for AEC — concept renders from plans and sketches, AEC-tuned prompt templates, style-transfer for facades.
  • Courses — practitioner-led BIM training from Revit fundamentals to coordination workflows.
How we work
  • Encrypted by default. X25519 handshake on sensitive endpoints. Ed25519-signed license files. HTTPS-only cookies with refresh rotation.
  • Global payment, multi-language. Priced in USD via Stripe with local bank transfer for Vietnamese customers. Vietnamese + English on every page.
  • Open by design. Public API with OAuth2, OpenAPI 3.1 spec, in-house webhooks. Integrate BIM Mobius into your stack however you want.
  • Build-Operate-Transfer. We ship, we run, we hand off. No vendor lock-in. Documented runbooks.
Milestones
  • 2025

    Founded

    BIM Mobius founded as an R&D effort. Initial focus: prove that a single productivity layer can replace dozens of in-house automation scripts for Revit, Tekla, and AutoCAD teams.

  • 2026

    Design and platform build

    Product design, platform architecture, content authoring, and pilot programs with early-access AEC teams. Public site launches with editorial guides, documentation, and the marketplace catalogue.

  • 2027

    Product release

    First production releases of Revit, Tekla, and AutoCAD addins. Family Library and BIM courses go GA. Subscription tiers open to all customers worldwide.

How the platform is built

Reliability is a feature. The stack is intentionally boring — battle-tested components and security choices that we explain in detail on the engineering blog.

  • Next.js + NestJS monorepo. TypeScript end-to-end. Server-rendered marketing site, typed FE↔BE contract via a workspace api-client package. Read about Postgres RLS for multi-tenant SaaS.
  • End-to-end encryption on sensitive endpoints. X25519 handshake + AES-GCM payloads for login, registration, 2FA, and license operations. Even the BE never sees a plaintext password on the wire. How the encrypted handshake works.
  • Self-hosted on Docker + Cloudflare Tunnel. Single-VM deployment with reproducible builds, zero public ingress, Postgres + R2 storage. Operator can move providers in days, not months. The self-hosted deployment story.
