What data the addin sends

Transparency about data is a non-negotiable part of the BIM Mobius product. This page lists everything the addin transmits and everything it does not.

What is sent

• Telemetry events: command name, timestamp, duration, success / failure. Batched at 100 events / 5 minutes.
• Anonymous model statistics: element counts by category, family counts, view counts. No element geometry, no parameter values, no file names.
• Crash reports: stack trace, addin version, Revit version. Triggered only on unhandled exception inside the addin.
• License heartbeat: device fingerprint hash, license blob signature. Every 24 hours when online.

What is never sent

• The Revit file itself, or any portion of its geometry.
• Element parameter values, family names, sheet names, view names.
• Project metadata: client, location, project number.
• Anything from outside the active Revit document.
