Install the addin

The BIM Mobius Revit addin ships as an MSI installer. Install once per workstation and the addin will register itself with every supported Revit version it finds.

System requirements

• Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
• Autodesk Revit 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025
• .NET 4.8 runtime (auto-installed if missing)
• 500 MB free disk space
• Internet connection for license activation (offline mode after first activation)

Install steps

1. Download the MSI from your account → Downloads page.
2. Close all running Revit instances.
3. Right-click the MSI and choose "Run as administrator".
4. Follow the installer prompts. Accept the EULA.
5. Launch Revit. The BIM Mobius tab appears in the ribbon.
6. Click "Activate" and sign in with your BIM Mobius account.

Verifying the install

Open Revit and look for the "BIM Mobius" tab. The Audit panel should be visible. If the tab is missing, see the troubleshooting page.
